Maybe next time

We got as far as Langford. We planned to stop near McD's at 84th Avenue and 200th Street for an hour to charge my Zero from 50% to 100%. The first charger wouldn't work, so I went to a second, then a third, then a fourth ... then I noticed that David's headlight had burnt out. So we had two lame motorcycles in the first 10% of our trip.

We stopped at one big motorcycle dealership (International Motorsports) that happened to deal with Zero (and a few other brands, but not Suzuki). They could not help me because they hadn't heard of my issue. The could not help David because they don't deal in Suzuki. So we went to the next huge motorcycle dealership (Holeshot Motorcycles). They dealt in Suzuki, but didn't have one standard H4 bulb in their 100,000 sq ft warehouse, plus they didn't want to put one in.

We tried a fifth time, gave up, and stopped for lupper to clear our heads and think about the situation.

We could limp to Merritt with just his high beam, but I couldn't if I don't know why my Zero won't charge. David wasn't interested in continuing alone, and I didn't see a miracle that would allow me to charge at public charge points, so we headed for home.

We would have just arrived in time for a 6PM Tsawwassen to Swartz Bay, if there was one on a Tuesday. So we'll be on the 7PM. I should barely get to Mom's to charge up, and David won't be home until almost 10PM ... deflated, but ready to try again. I think David is already shopping for a gas bike for me.
